About

Bunny Burson is a multi-media artist focused on the intersection of history, politics and science. Trained as a printmaker, interested in materiality and influenced by conceptual art, she experiments with diverse processes to create work addressing historic and contemporary issues. Her research into her genetic profile and subsequent experimentation with fabrication technology have led Burson to continue the exploration of her personal history, visually animating scientific data and linking her generation to the past and the present.

Burson received her BA from Tulane University, her BFA from the Memphis College of Art and her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at venues in New York, Aspen, St. Louis, Nashville, Memphis, Jerusalem, and Leipzig, Germany. She is represented by Bruno David Gallery.
